Easter Joy!

The St. Vincent de Paul parish welcomed three Christians into full communion with the Roman Catholic Church during the Easter Vigil Mass on Saturday, March 30, 2013.

St. Vincent de Paul Conference Hosts Speaker


On Saturday, February 16th more than forty area leaders (Priests, Religious, Elected Officials and Lay Leaders) committed themselves to learning more about the issue of poverty and homelessness in our community.

Supported by a front page story in this week's Anchor available here; participants were encouraged to continue to put Christ's love into action by serving our brothers and sisters in need.

Poverty, Homelessness and Justice

The Saint Vincent de Paul Society hosts Sister Linda Bessom, SND, Faith Into Action Together Coordinator for the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless and member of the Social Policy Committee for the Massachusetts Catholic Conference on Saturday February 16th, following the 4:00 PM Mass.

Sr. Linda will provide a faith-based charity and justice response to the problems of poverty and homelessness in Attleboro and the larger community. Her goal is to create awareness about the ways people can advocate for vulnerable residents in our community, including unaccompanied homeless youth.

Prayerfully Supporting Life

A Pilgrimage for Life leaves Attleboro early on the morning of January 24 to join the Prayer Vigil in Washington, DC. Your prayerful support of this journey is appreciated.

  • On Sunday, January 20 after the the 5:30 PM Mass at St. Vincent de Paul Parish there will be a Pot Luck dinner in the church hall for pilgrims to meet and finalize last minute details.
  • On Wednesday, January 23 at 7 PM at St. Vincent de Paul Parish there will be a special Mass to officially begin the pilgrimage.

Your prayerful presence at both pre-trip events is welcomed.
