The closing Mass at St. Joseph's Parish will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Sunday, 30 December 2012, by Bishop Donald Pelletier, M.S., who has a long connection with our parish. You can read more about his life and ministry here. Please join us for a potluck lunch afterwards in the lower church.
The inaugural Mass for St. Vincent de Paul Parish will take place at Holy Ghost Church at 11 a.m. on 1 January 2013. There will be a social following the Mass in the lower church hall- your food donations are welcome!

Overall, the tone was positive, although the comments about the suddeness of the merger are misleading (the proposal was publically announced in late September).
